Track 1 - Hati Samudra
Music is the language of the world. It does not need translation. Music speaks from soul to soul, which means music can express human feelings in the form of ringing tones or other sounds that contain rhythm and harmony. Hati Samudra (lit. Heart of the Ocean) was inspired by the secret heart of a woman as deep as the ocean. This female figure, lovely, peaceful, and quiet, has a heart that is difficult to read. A collaboration between gamelan semarandana, gambang, flute was selected in order to achieve a sound that does not resemble gamelan music.

I Wayan Denny Saputra (Koko)
I Wayan Denny Saputra (Koko) was born in Denpasar and at the age of 5 he began to teach himself traditional songs. Koko's banjar, Binoh, is well known for its Legong repertoire and his life soon became filled with the sounds of the gamelan Palegongan. In addition to Legong, at the age of 17 Koko began to study Gambang with I Wayan Sinti. Later his studies of gamelan continued at ISI Denpasar where he underwent a musical journey through time and space. He is currently searching for his own musical identity in new works for gamelan as well as knowledge about other musics.
